At St. John Baptist Church, our Youth & Children’s Ministry is rooted in our commitment to building a strong spiritual foundation for the next generation. Through age-appropriate teaching, engaging activities, and intentional discipleship, we aim to help children and young people grow into fully devoted followers of Christ.

Mission Statement:
The Youth Ministry exists to connect, engage, and support all youth and their families while growing with Christ.
Purpose:
To empower our youth with the courage to live out God’s Word in their daily lives—not just to know it mentally, but to live it boldly.
Our youth have their own dedicated area of study each Sunday, designed to address real-life challenges and help them grow spiritually and emotionally through Christ-centered teaching and mentorship.
Children’s Ministry
Meeting Time:
4th Saturday of each month, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Mission Statement:
Developing the Kingdom potential in every child.
Purpose:
To disciple our children into becoming fully devoted followers of Christ.
Aim:
Kids come first.
Children participate in engaging lessons and life-skills activities in a safe, nurturing environment.
Programs include:
Fundamentals of money management
Understanding wants vs. needs
Basic survival skills (cooking, literacy, self-expression, safety, etc.)
Communication and leadership development
Tithing, budgeting, and saving
ID card responsibility and mock paychecks
The “KID Store” experience
Breakfast and snack provided
Nursery Ministry
Age Group:
6 weeks – 2 years old
Also supports Ages 3–5 and Grades 1–6 when needed

Hours of Operation: Sundays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Mission Statement:
To provide a peaceful, safe, warm, and loving environment where babies and toddlers can have their needs met through ministry, music, play, and care.
Purpose:
To bring the presence of God into the nursery, share the Word of God on a toddler's level, and impart the love of Jesus through intentional nurturing.
